Chester’s amazing Twelve days of Christmas parade brought lots of people to the city this evening.
Chester Christmas Market and lights
Today saw the start of the Christmas markets in Chester along with the highly anticipated light switch on. I headed out to take a look and to buy lots and lots of fudge.
It’s starting to get much chillier and it wont be long before the Christmas market’s arrive in Chester (they will be featuring on my things to do in Chester blog soon).
Today in Chester saw the street’s lit up with incredibly beautiful colour for the 2019 Diwali parade.

I Set my alarm for 7am got up and quickly hydrated with water and coffee. Grabbed some porridge and a banana to carb up the long day ahead.
I was considering the best things to do in Chester last week when I had a little bit of spare time. I decided on Chester cathedral’s tower tour and it was a big eye opener for me.
We had another Sunday parade today, following last weeks Chester Pride. Today was a visit from Royalty as HRH Princess Anne came to Chester to see the company of the HMS Albion exersize their freedom of the city, with a march through the streets of Chester.
