HRH Princess Anne Visit to Chester 2019
We had another Sunday parade today, following last weeks Chester Pride. Today was a visit from Royalty as HRH Princess Anne came to Chester to see the company of the HMS Albion exersize their freedom of the city, with a march through the streets of Chester.

The Town Hall square was filled with hundreds of people who had traveled to the city to see Princess Anne and the crew of HMS Albion.
HMS Albion Crew parade through streets of Chester
The Princess Royal, who launched the HMS Albion 9th March 2001, was present for the Albion crew and band (looking magnificent marching in unison) as they paraded through the streets of Chester and finished up at the Town Hall square. Princess Anne took a salute and then inspected the Albions crew.
The HMS Albion was granted freedom of the city of Chester in 2003.
It was an honor and a pleasure to photograph the proceedings and I thoroughly enjoyed seeing the event close up. If you watched the parade today and got any pictures, please send you pictures in here and I will post some on the In Chester Walls website.
Here’s the rest of my pictures from today, I hope you enjoy them…
